Meet me on Monday

Questions:

1.  Tomorrow I'm going to _________?
SCHOOL!
I'm following up on my grades (or let's say I'm asking the professor to pass me!). I was supposed to finish last semester but then there seems to be a problem with a subject. My graduation (this March) is still hanging by a thread! Oh, everyone who gets to read this, PLEASE, pray for me. Together let's pray that she lets me pass (she's a Judge, so she scares me!).
Thanks!

2.  Pudding or Jello?
Jello! :D
Jello reminds me of my happy childhood days! I loved them frozen.

3.  What book are you currently reading?
Would Constitutional Rights and Social Demands - Notes and Cases, by Father Joaquin Bernas count? It's on my desk. My goal is to finish it this December (uhm, in preparation for November next year's exam, haha!).

Okay, so seriously, right now I'm listening to an audiobook by George Carlin entitled Napalm and Silly Putty. Somebody mentioned to me that he enjoys George Carlin's humor. Well, so far, it's so so. Not really my type but he does have a sense of humor!

4.  What is the first concert you went to see?
I can't remember!

I think it was a Gary Valenciano concert back in Cagayan de Oro. My uncle had tickets and no one would go with him. I was in grade school that time. I can't remember exactly how old I was, but it was just him and me, a kid. haha It was fun because it was the first time I saw my uncle dance!
Gary V. is the Philippine's Mr. Pure Energy!

5.  What is your current weather?
Hot and super sunny!
Why aren't there winters in the tropics!
I think I'm ready, haha! If only.

  3. I'll be praying for you, my friend. It's the Christmas season so maybe your professor will be in the giving mood.

I've never hear of frozen jello but, I think I'll give it a try. I know the little ones will enjoy it.

    Best of luck to you!

  4. Sending happy thoughts your way...
I agree with Jackie, it is wonderful to read about the weather in different parts of the world....I think it would be strange to have Christmas in the heat of summer.

  5. Great answers!! I don't think I'd like George Carlin but the Bernas book does sound good. ;)

I pray you pass your course with flying colors! :)

  7. I think it would be strange to have Christmas in the tropics, but of course, I am not used to that...it's all in what you are used to! It is COLD here.

  8. Visiting from MMOM. Hope all goes well with your schooling. It must be frustrating to have your life hanging in the balance like that. Phoenix usually is nice and warm in December, but not today, it is only 54 degrees at noon, and it is drizzling rain--which we need as we have only had about 3.5 inches this year. Which I bet is different than your climate. Drop by for a visit.

  9. Thanks for stopping by MMOM. Returning the love.

It did finally snow here today - just a little, but enough to make things white. I would miss the seasons, I think.

  10. Hi! Following from MMOM. I love George Carlin. Nobody put life into hilarious perspective like he did. I'd be happy to trade you my cold weather for a few days! LOL

Good luck with your exams. I'll remember you in my prayers.

    Happy Holidays!

  12. Thanks to everyone who dropped by and said a little prayer. I don't know what happened but the student assistant in school actually told the professor that she had no class, only to find out that she made a mistake! When she tried calling the professor again, the latter wouldn't pick up. I waited (along with the rest of her students) but she never came. Looks like I'll have to drop by her chambers one of these days. Judge's chambers scare me!

    @Karen
I hope your son did well. I'm in law school too! :D

Right now, I'm actually wishing for a "white Christmas"! Which is, of course, impossible. ;-) They say a man can have an average of 75 winters in his lifetime. I'll try to, at least, exprience one winter! ;-) Merry Christmas!

Thanks a lot! I still have a few more days to go. I hope my professor will have that Christmas spirit in her!

  13. #2 is a good idea w/ pudding or Jell-o. Reminds me of when I used to freeze Silk Vanilla soy milk in those and pretend my lactose-issues self was eating the same thing everyone else was.

  14. I didn't play along this week, but I never eat jello.. It always reminds me of being sick. In fact, when I was a little girl, about six, I once went to a friends house and her brother was eating Jello. I came home and told my mom he must have been sick... She had to explain that jello was actually a real desert... Ah, memories. I host a Friday Fill-In Blog Hop I would love if you could check it out...
